Geordie Stewart is a British author, explorer, endurance athlete and former army officer. Geordie is the grandson of Jean Cantlie Stewart.
Aged 22, he became the youngest Briton to climb the Seven Summits – the highest mountain on each of the seven continents – when he summited Everest on his second attempt. In 2018, he wrote his first book, In Search of Sisu, about his journey on and off the mountains during his Seven Summits attempt.
After a five-year career in an army reconnaissance regiment, Geordie departed the UK to begin a 13,000 mile, 14-month solo cycle around the world. His second book, A Rolling Stone, was published in October 2020.
He is now Operations Manager of Extreme-E https://www.extreme-e.com/en/broadcast-information#country=GB, a motor racing series for electric SUVs and spends his spare time writing, undertaking adventures and encouraging others to explore the natural world.
